ABOUT ME

MY APPROACH

I use a relational and experiential approach where together we follow the thoughts, feelings, images, and sensations that are occurring in the present moment. Tracking these experiences within our time together allows you to learn about your responses and associations as they happen in real time.

As we become familiar with what is present within, habitual emotional responses come into view. These emotions, though often at the edge of awareness, have a powerful sway over our lives. Bringing them into focus and holding them in awareness allows for a sometimes gradual and sometimes spontaneous relaxing and letting go of the tension holding these emotions trapped in place. From this is born a new perspective, a new way of understanding the experiences you have had and who you are. And from this new, more open and expansive awareness new possibilities for your life arise.

If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.

Gospel of Thomas, verse 70
